研究方向(Research topics)
实验室主要以拟南芥和水稻为模型,采用分子生物学、生物化学、结构生物学、基因组学和生物信息学等手段,研究植(作)物温度感应机制(包括温度感知、信号传导和温度响应),并探索作物应对气候变化的遗传改良策略。
We use Arabidopsis thaliana and rice (Oryza sativa) as model systems, and apply integrated approaches of molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology, genomics and bioinformatics to study plant temperature sensing mechanisms, answering key questions of how plants perceive temperature, how temperature signal was transmitted and how plants respond to temperature changes. Our ultimate goal is to breed climate-resilient crop varieties for the ever-increasing world population in the context of global climate change.

We are part of the National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement and the newly established Hubei Hongshan Laboratory, which are both among the most advanced and promising plant and crop research centers in China. Our lab is recruiting postdoc researchers (2-3), PhD students (1-2 per year) and master students (2-4 per year). We welcome motivated researchers and students who are interested in key words, e.g., climate change, temperature sensing, crop genetic improvement, transcription factor and cis-element interaction, to join us. We provide competitive salary, housing and state-of-the-art research facilities.
