Teacher Information:
Wolfgang Gartner is a well-known expert in the field of light biology and is currently the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy in Germany.Conversion), professor of the universi-ty of duisburg, associate editor of the international journal Photochem.Photobiol. After receiving his doctorate from uzburg university in 1982, he successively went to the MaxPlanck Institute fuer Biochemie, Martinsried (1982-1984) and univ. of Basel Biocenter, Switzerland (1986-1991) as a postdoctoral fellow.Since 1991, the Max Planck Institute in Germany has been engaged in the study of photobiology and optogenetics in Nature, PNAS, Angew. Chem. Int.More than 150 research papers or review papers have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Ed, j. Am Chem. Soc, JBC, etc.Technological advances in optogenetics show the potential of interdisciplinary research and the importance of new research methods in life sciences. Prof. Wolfgang Gärtner is in the field of international photobiology Wei experts, engaged in photobiology research for more than 30 years, is familiar with the development of photobiology and optogenetics, and has rich experience in scientific research. Prof. Gärtner came to teach instruction and will give teachers and students of our school elaborated the latest research results abroad, guided the development of new fluorescent probes in our school's laboratory, applied the latest fluorescent probe technology to explore the mysteries of the cell field and neuroscience field.
