陈敏，教授，博导，华中农业大学“狮山硕彦计划”拔尖人才。2003年毕业于华中科技大学生物技术专业，获理学学士学位；2011年于华南农业大学获植物学博士学位；2012年2月至2017年12月先后于英国Exeter大学和John Innes Centre从事博士后研究工作；2017年12月至今在华中农业大学生命科学技术学院工作。主要研究方向为控制植物种子休眠的分子机理以及其响应外界环境因素的机制，已在Science, PNAS, Plant Cell等期刊上发表第一作者论文数篇。目前主要以大豆作为材料进行种子发育和休眠相关的机制研究。
